The Coloring Book , Nafissa and the Spirits of the North and Nathanael a Boy in Fairyland are self-published books.
Nafissa is a young witch. She protects Bassara, her native village, with a magic barrier.
Orphaned, she managed to fill her loneliness and find comfort with Marduk, a very kind old lion.
Life goes on peacefully in Bassara... until intruders break through the barrier. Little Nafissa immediately sets off to meet them, which will lead her to a wonderful adventure!
Nafissa, and the Spirits of the North is above all a game, a story that is created by two people, at the meeting between image and writing.
Arnaud Toulouse and Laure Phelipon met in the theater improvisation troupe "la Balise". Accustomed to creating imaginary universes in collaboration, they decided to give improvisation a literary form.
It all started with a drawing by Laure, from which Arnaud wrote the beginning of a story, which then inspired, and so on until creating a beautiful story that is both well written and drawn, that of Nafissa.
